Products That Give Glitter & Glow.

I'll admit, for the most time I've been a matte-makeup love. It still does apply to my current preference, but not as much curretnly. It's only been the past couple of seasons where I have begun to embrace and appreciate the sought-after dewy and glowy look, especially on the skin and lips (I've always been a glitter eyeshadow girl!). Especially since the warmer months are approaching, I thought a post spotlighting my current favourite glowy and glittery products was very appropriate. Be sure to leave your favourites and recommendations in the comments below!

Too Faced White Peach Palette.* My previous blog post was an in-depth review on this palette (review here) where I prounounced it as my favourite spring and summer eyeshadow palette. This palette especially is a great one for those glittery and shimmery eye looks as it contains three ultra glittery shades that give the lids an absolutely pretty glittery shine without being to intenesly opaque or exclusively for evening looks. The glitters accompanied with the palette's soft light pastel mattes gives an overall perfect palette for the spring and summer.

Stila Glitter & Go Liquid Eye Shadow.* With viewing only a few YouTube tutorials, it can be easily noticed how this product is a favourite among many makeup professionals. Being a lover for a pretty glittery look (without being loose or needing glitter glue!), I had to purchase one. I opted for "Kitten Karma" which is Stila's signature pinky-champagne colour. Being fuss-free and easy to apply, you can apply buidlable coats for an intense opaque layer, or a single swipe for a diffused and sheer, yet impactful, glitter look.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Illuminating Powder.* I have professed my love for this product many times on this blog (review here). This product was the answer to my long search of a naturally glowy pink blush (also available in highlighter and bronzer form) in the shade "Peonies Please". It imparts a beautiful wet look to the skin, while offering a pretty pink flush on the cheeks. An absolute favourite product in my entire collection!

Glossier Haloscope.* This is one among other Glossier makeup products that I have (review here), albeit not my absolute favourite one of theirs. As it is a stick highlighter, a major benefit this gives is that it offers a very natural and transcluscent glow (shade: "Quartz") that blends seamlessly into the skin once properly patted and blended into the skin. The disadvantage would be that for me, it's not as emoliant as I would want it to be and it is not the most apparant, unless a heavy coat is applied and the sun shines directly to my cheekbones. Overall though, I will be using this heavily in the spring and summer months!

Too Faced Melted Latex High Shine Liquified Liquid Lipstick.* I never thought that I would - even for a moment - part with matte lipsticks, but I have been currently enjoying soft nudes that gives a bit of flattering shine or gloss to the lips. The Too Faced Latex Lipstick in "Hopeless Romantic" has proved to be my favourite glossy light warm nude shade ever. The shine is not dramatically glossy, but very flattering on the lips. The consistency is questionable as upon first application, it feels very heavy and gloopy, yet by dabbing the lips and blotting away the excess, the result is beautiful, comfortable, and long-lasting.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lipgloss.* I love using lipgloss for either adding shine to a matte lipstick or for wearing alone as a natural, shiny lip look. This is the perfect gloss for either application as its shade "Champagne Toast" is very natural and its consistency is very comfortable. It's slightly gritty due to the shimmer particles, yet no sparkles are evident on the lips. It's not the most long-lasting given its lightweight feel, but the overall effect is undeniably pretty.

I'm most excited to be using these products on the daily during the spring and summer!  What are your favourite glowy products?
