Zoeva Rose Golden Vol.2 Brush Set

I think it may be for about less than a year that I've actually appreciated the value of brushes. I never thought that I would actually be excited for makeup brushes and even have them on my wishlist! Well, this brush set was indeed on the top of my wish list and so since it was my birthday last weekend, one of the things I purchased was the ZOEVA Rose Golden Vol.2 brush set (among others - stay tuned for more reviews coming soon!). The brand is constantly being raved about, especially by YouTubers because of its quality as well as its undeniable physical appeal. ZOEVA does consist of a multitude of various sets, however, this particular one was undoubtedly the one that appealed to me the most due to its beautiful blush and rose-gold colour!

Each brush has a light powder pink bamboo handle that is adorned with beautifully written text; the brush extends with a floral-embossed rose gold casing that houses the hairs of the brush. And of course, the set comes with a luxurious rose gold bag that has the logo embedded onto its front with a pretty charm on the zipper and the inside of the bag subtly showcasing the slogan of the brand: "COLOR. LOVE. MAKEUP."

             

The set consists of 8 brushes, each perfect for any typical brush kit - not too excessive, but covers almost all bases. The set contains of a combination of real and synthetic hairs; the brushes with "luxe" in the name, consists of real hairs.

I've only used the Buffer brush so far to test it out and I noticed that it applied my foundation much more seamless and airbrushed-looking than ever before! I also did notice that the "luxe" brushes (the natural hair ones) were slightly scratchy, although that is expected for natural hairs versus synthetic brushes. These brushes are definitely ones that I will display on my vanity (unlike my Real Techniques brushes!).
