Tarte Tartelette in Bloom Eyeshadow Palette

tarte tartelette in bloom eyeshadow palette
I am absolutely in love with this palette! I really wanted to purchase my first high-end eyeshadow palette that consisted of neutrals, while still containing a diverse variety of shades. This 12-pan palette perfectly fits what I was looking for. The Tartelette in Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette is the follow up palette to Tarte's first all mattes palette: Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette. Tarte prides itself with powering its products with Amazonian clay, meaning that the brand utilizes the clay that naturally accumulates by the Amazon River, containing beneficiary skin-smoothing nutrients (you can read more about this here).

The case has a snap closure and is relatively thin and sturdy. Also, its mirror is one of the clearest and largest mirrors I've ever seen in a palette which features a lovely italicized script of the name of the palette on the bottom.

In order of the rows from top to bottom.
What I love most about this palette is, as I mentioned previously, its variety. It houses warms, cools, shimmers, and mattes. The top row contains the cooler-toned shades, the middle row is warmer and is of the brown/gold colour family, and the bottom row showcases the more peachy/red/maroon tones (my favourite!). To be honest, what solidified my decision for purchasing this palette was actually for two specific shades: Funny Girl and Sweetheart - a shimmery champagne and matte peach, respectively - my favourite go-to eye look! The shades are very pigmented, creamy, although have a lot of fallout, but I don't mind it especially when I tap off the excess before applying.
