My Everyday Go-To Lid Look.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to get on this bandwagon. I'm talking about the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 HR Gel Eyeshadow! This product is definitely one of the most raved about items, especially from the drugstore and I find that I still hear about it nowadays which is saying something considering the increasing competition from other brands. Before I purchased this product, I found myself needing an easy single colour that I could swipe onto my lid whenever I wanted something quick and easy, rather than taking out an entire palette to use. I also wanted a shade that I knew I would be able to wear almost every day, which for me, is anything with a pinky tone to it. I'm glad to say that this product has indeed fulfilled my needs!

The potted gel shadow is very handy and is perfect for a single lid look which you can blend through the crease for the illusion of a full-blown look, or you can even use it as a base or shadow topper. I have mine in the shade "55 - Inked in Pink": a rosy pink with plum undertones, which is totally my colour. The quality is great with intense and very long-lasting pigmentation, although be sure to really rub the brush in to get a good payoff as this is a potted gel formula which naturally needs that bit of extra effort! Also, as to its "24-hour" claim, I haven't tested that out. although I don't feel like I ever will considering I don't wear makeup that long! However, the colour indeed lasts throughout a long day while maintaining its pigmentation.
