My Makeup Journey.

More or less, makeup has always been a part of my life, yet of course, it's now more involved than ever. It does, however, amaze me to think that I've now constructed a blog that is so heavily focused around makeup, among other things. My passion as well as my knowledge for it has definitely evolved over the years and now that I feel I've acquired ample experience and traversed well into my way in the beauty world, I thought it would be interesting to briefly reminisce my journey with makeup.

As a child, my love for makeup only extended to lip products - Lip Smackers balms to glosses to sheer lipsticks. In fact, it wasn't until my first year in high school where I actually started getting into a beginner version of a full-face makeup routine with foundation, concealer, and matte lipstick  - albeit, not very well (for some reason I always left my forehead bare!).
I guess I can say that my deep interest in makeup blossomed upon discovering the beauty world of YouTube. It opened my eyes immensely and made me aware of the plethora of techniques, unique beauty products, and more importantly, the art of makeup.
It's definitely become a huge hobby and passion of mine that I love to invest my time and attention to, especially through my blog as well. Beauty and makeup will most likely always be a second passion for me, following my number-one love that is fashion, but nonetheless, it's a community that I am so glad to be participating in and hope to continue to learn more and more about and fall more and more in love with!

  2. Lovely post! My passion for makeup sparked around the same time as you, around my first year of high school. Since then, my love for makeup has grew tremendously & I'm so glad I have my blog as an outlet to express fondness of it!

    1. So interesting! Yes, my love for makeup just grew so rapidly! And I can sometimes feel justified spending lots of money on makeup products for the sake of my blog haha!

  3. Your passion started earlier than mine though in similar fashion. I discovered youtube beauty gurus and beauty bloggers by my 2nd year in college, it taught me so many awesome things.
