First off, I was actually in need (ok, want) of a small bag with small handles; I just really like the style of holding a cute mini-purse by its short handles in your hand. So, when I saw this, I immediately knew I wanted it. It came in another colour (a coral-ish red) and even though at that moment I was wishing there to be a black option (there wasn't), I was falling in love with this colour more and more. Its colour is described as a cobalt/royal blue - a very rich colour. I feel that sometimes a fun colour can still be toned down if it's more of a deep shade and that's what I think this bag has: a unique and different colour without being too bright and in-your-face.
This bag also has a removable and adjustable strap that you can easily clip on, although as mentioned previously, I intend to use it by its own handles. It has gold hardware (which I prefer over silver, personally), engraved with the Danier logo. The bottom also has four gold round pieces of hardware to stabilize it when put down. It contains Danier's leather tag on the front fastened by an adjustable gold bubble chain. The bag has a structured and rather robust dome shape coated in a saffiano leather texture.
This bag is actually quite spacious. Other than the convenient zippered pouch at the back of the purse, the inside also contains a pouch on both sides, but on one side it also has a zippered compartment.
This purse is great to wear with a uniform-coloured outfit, like all black, and to use the bag as a pop of colour, or you can also use the colour to compliment the theme of your outfit such as with a navy coat or blue jeans.
I'm very satisfied with this purchase and it makes a great addition to my collection.
