Everyday Makeup Products

everyday makeup products makeup bag
I love going for a different makeup look everyday and coordinating it with my outfit and how I'm feeling that day, but of course there are those days where you don't really have much time for that. Instead, slathering some makeup on just to look presentable is good enough for those busy days where you're running late or when you're just not in the mood.  This handful of products are those that I use on a daily basis that always make the cut even on lazy makeup days. So, let's delve right in!
body shop day cream
The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Day Cream*
Regardless, a moisturizer is a must; it creates a smooth and lubricated base for the foundation and also protects your skin from your makeup. This day cream is a must-have for me, no matter if I'm going all the way with my makeup or just going for something simple and minimal.

maybelline foundation
Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation (Light 1)
I've used this foundation for years now, and for now it's all that I use. I have quite a love-hate relationship with this as I think it's just a tiny bit pink-toned for me. Also, I feel that it may oxidize just a bit, however, I think that may only be when I pack on a lot of it which I've recently stopped doing since I've only recently realized the large role concealers play!

maybelline fit me concealer
Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer (15 Fair)
Speaking of concealers, I normally use a couple, but for those everyday lazy makeup days, I tend to use just the one that ticks off almost all the boxes you would want a concealer to cover. For me, that's the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: great for under the eyes as well as for blemishes. Honestly, it can be even good enough without any foundation at all.

maybellline lash sensational mascara
Maybelline Lash Sensational Full Fan Effect Mascara
You may be bored of my constant raving of the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, but that's because it really is... sensational! (lame, I know...) So, obviously, I go for this mascara no matter the occasion. Great for volume, length, and curl; it's a fabulous all-rounder.

maybelline fit me powder
Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Normal to Oily Powder (100 Translucent)
I can't skip on the powder. Who wants to look shiny, even when you're running late?? Besides, powder takes only a few seconds to lightly dust all over your face. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Powerless Powder never fails; it really does create a flawless finish in hardly any time at all!

NYC HD Automatic Eyeliner Waterproof (003 Deep Brown)
I tend to skip the eyeshadow on these days, so to quickly add a little extra on my eyes, I tend to go for a bold black liner. Understandably, a wing liner is not the best choice for when you quickly want to get out the door, so a thicker crayon or pencil to neatly smudge over the top of the lash line is definitely my go-to. Also, I can never leave the house without doing something to my eyebrows. I seem to always use an eyeliner for my eyebrows which may be tricky as it is very pigmented, but honestly, with a light hand, it can the perfect product to shape and fill in your eyebrows and still achieve the natural look. This NYC eyeliner is perfect for that as it also contains a smudger which neatly distributes some colour over your eyebrows, so you don't have to fully draw them in.

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss (107)
If I had to only wear one makeup product, it would be lipstick. Particularly, these two lipsticks. I always feel that whenever I go for a full face of makeup, with a nude lip, my makeup automatically gets toned down. So, whenever I want to achieve the effortful makeup look, going for a darker lip like the Rimmel 107's deep red or the Revlon Sultry's dark nude is usually an essential for me.

real techniques buffing brush core collection
Real Techniques Buffing Brush
When I'm in a hurry, I tend to use my fingers to dab on concealer and such, but for foundation and especially powder, I cannot and will not part with my trusty Real Techniques Buffing Brush: a great all-rounder!

These are the makeup products that are my bare necessities for my bare face during those lazy/hurried makeup days. What are your essentials? Let me know in the comments below!
