I've realized that I own very little green in my wardrobe. In fact, I feel that there is actually quite a limited selection of green clothing in most shops, which is rather unfortunate. Green definitely has a place for all seasons, and combining it with a floral print makes a perfect compatibility with spring and summer.
This top actually belongs to my mom who first got it almost 20 years ago. I always had a liking towards it and now that I'm basically the same age as the shirt, I thought that I could finally wear it! I paired the collared button-down short-sleeved top by tucking the front in a pair of simple black skinny jeans with pointed black flats and my favourite cross-body bag.
For some reason, I felt that green would work with an orange-based makeup look and I honestly really do appreciate the spring-like combination. I also pinned back two wads of my hair from the front, which I always feel adds a bit more of a girlier and "fairy-like" look, especially with wavy hair.
