Crossbody Contents: The Bare Necesseties

I think of myself as a light traveler and this doesn't only apply for when I go on a trip. On a typical everyday basis, I tend to carry only a select few items in my small handbag. The majority of my bag collection actually consists of cross body bags, with the occasional larger bags that I mostly reserve for school or work purposes. So, for the most part, I carry around a bag that's no larger than the size of my face (odd reference, I know). If you personally struggle with an overloading handbag and find difficulty with deciding what's actually necessary to bring with you, just pay attention to the items that you actually end up using whenever you go out. Here are my bare necessities that I carry around on a typical day:

Wallet: I'll always be a wallet kind of person rather than a cardholder. Personally, I tend to prefer wallets that zip all the way around instead of the the classic front snap button as it feels a bit more secure and simple. I love the colour of this waller (blush pink for everything, please!) with its gold hardware. I got this from Indigo a while back, although I am honestly on the hunt for a better quality wallet at the moment.

Earphones: These are a must, particularly these Sony earbuds. I refuse to use any other earphones as these ones give me the best sound quality for a reasonable price. I couldn't tell you how many of these I've gone through, and they still remain to be my absolute staple earphones.

Lipstick: The only beauty item that I tend to carry with me on a typical day, is lipstick. I always just pop in the lipstick that I'm wearing that day, for touchups that will most probably be needed especially if I'm eating out that day.

Tissues: Anyone who's an eyeglasses wearer, will understand that a smudge or raindrop on the lens can pretty much ruin your day out, and that there's no better way to clean them with than the glasses cloth. So, you can bet that I have one of these in practically each of my handbags. Also, I must always carry tissues with myself, which doesn't really need much explaining why.

Keys + Phone: Then the absolute essentials: my keys and iPhone. Pretty much the items that make it virtually impossible to leave the house without!

So, these are my bare necessities that I carry with me on a typical everyday basis. Managing my load really does contribute with the stress throughout the day as it reduces the fear of losing or misplacing things, as well as facilitating getting what you're looking for in your bag. What are your handbag essentials?
