Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.

The Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder* is amongst the many timeless cult favourites that are from the drugstore realm which is not surprising considering how Rimmel is especially well-known for its complexion products. So, when I was exploring other powders to try, I went straight to this one. I'll admit, powder is not the most exciting of beauty products, but I find it to be actually one of the most essential products, thus it can be regarded as quite important to settle on a good one. I was currently using the Maybelline Fit Me powder, and as much as I enjoy it, I wanted a more fine powder that would keep oil away for longer.

This powder comes with various skin shades, but as always, I select the transparent shade as I tend to use powder for the purpose of setting my makeup, rather than for coverage or pigment. The packaging is very simple, but what I love about it is its size as it's actually quite large compared to most powders. Once you twist and open the clear plastic lid, you encounter a fruity-scent and are faced with a pan embossed with Rimmel's signature crown logo, which I find to be a very nice touch!

Firstly, I find the powder to be very finely-mild which you can notice by my swatch where the product is not very opaque or thick on my finger; I love this since this prevents from resulting in cake-face and overly obvious powder on the skin. Also, I definitely see an advantage in its lasting power and it is very effective at keeping my oils at bay throughout the day and shooting the skin.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this powder and it has become my favourite out of the ones I've tried so far and is what I've been reaching for every day. Have you tried this powder? If not, you can purchase this from Notino.com
