Makeup Products for Anytime and Anyplace.

Some makeup products are reserved for certain occasions or are more seasonal products that are used to achieve a specific look. Some other products, however, are timeless - great for day, night, and all the seasons. These are great products to invest in if you're into the all-rounder capsule makeup collection or if you just enjoy the idea of holding on to products that you can always rely on no matter the time of year or day. Of course, technically no product is "forbidden" for a certain time, but there are just those products that feel appropriate and come in handy without any consideration for the occasion. Here are my picks of products that I always use constantly, year round.

Foundation. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation is a product that I wear no matter the occasion. It provides a matte finish, albeit not too matte, so it's not necessarily representative of a certain season, like how a dewy foundation can be. It's also great for when I want to go for a full-on high coverage look, but is also great for everyday and even for school.

Eyeshadow. The Tartelette in Bloom Palette is the perfect choice for an all-rounder palette. All neutrals, but not redundant: a great selection of cools, warms, shimmers, mattes, lights, darks, etc. This is definitely a palette that I can easily create looks for whatever season, and for whatever time of day. 

     

Blush. I know that one of the most popular blush shades is the natural pink/brown shade, namely Too Faced's "Baby Love" blush. It's the ultimate neutral blush that compliments any and every makeup look.

Lipsticks. Nudes are an obvious choice when it comes to makeup that fits in no matter the time or place as it goes with everything and can be casual or be glammed up. My preference is Revlon's "Sultry" as it's a deep nude that can easily transition through the seasons and through day to night. On the other hand, more worn than any other lipstick is Rimmel's 107 - a deep berry red. This may be considered a more autumnal shade, however, it's not the deepest of berries and has more red than a deep purple, so this is personally a lipstick that I find myself very frequently swiping on without even thinking.
