I love the idea of reserving an eyeshadow palette to a particular time of the year. Neutral toned palettes are surely year-round, but when it comes to the upcoming spring and summer months, it's always nice to incorporate those light and pastel tones that are often typical of this time of year. So, I was in need of a spring / summer eyeshadow palette that I hadn't really had before - until I laid eyes on one of Too Faced's recent releases: the White Peach Palette.
This palette is pretty much the epitome of spring summer eyeshadow shades, given its light pastel tones of pinks, peaches, and purples. The palette also contains a load of textural variety due to the mattes, shimmers, and glitters, thereby offering dimension to any look you can create.
The packaging is probably the prettiest I've ever seen with its clutch-like exterior and ombré lavender cover. Once opened, its peachy (although I honestly smell more coconut for some reason) scent introduces the twelve eyeshadow shades. One of my favourite things about this palette is the organization of the shades as each row corresponds to a particular shade range: oranges to pinks to cooler tones. In terms of quality, this palette can be quite controversial. The shades are naturally light which can be confused as having low pigmentation, however, they are buildable. The only shimmer shade ("Peaches & Dreams") imparts a beautiful sheen on the lids. When it comes to the glitter shades, these can be quite chunky and are probably best applied only with a finger as the glitter does not really adhere to any brush.
Overall, the shade range is beautiful and the quality is quite decent, personally. This is definitely a palette that I will reserve for the spring and summer months and I will be hopefully getting a lot of use out of it. What do you think about this palette?
Oh wow this is a beautiful shadow range!
