I'm not one to normally incline towards nude makeup looks given my love for more bold looks, particularly the rosy tones. However, there are times when I love to go for nude tones, especially in the warmer months when I crave the fuss-free natural makeup look. So, here is a small collection of current nude makeup favourites that I highly recommend!
Eyes. This palette is a classic, one that has been around for quite a while. Too Faced even just recently revamped their whole Natural Collection including the packaging of this Natural Eyes Palette. Nonetheless, this product is the epitome of natural, neutral eyeshadows that consists of every natural eyeshadow that you ever need. It's a great supplementary palette for more bold and colourful palettes, but also works great alone as a simple neutral palette that offers sophisticated and chic natural eye looks that range from mattes and shimmers (there is also an all matte version). It's the perfect consise, yet complete neutral palette there is!
Blush. Tarte is perhaps the most reputable when it comes to their Amazonian Clay Blushes, especially as they've released a whole blush line devoted to nude tones! This particular blush is in the shade "Paaarty" which is a dusky pink nude. The pigmentation is amazing as well as its lasting power. As I tend to go for the cool and plumy pinks in the fall and winter, these nude and bronzy blushes are perfect for the spring and summer.
Lips. Nude lips is relatively new for me recently, given my love for bold lip colours. For some reason though, I've been loving the understated nude lip look and even sometimes opt for a glossy shade rather than my typical matte lipstick! For these occasions, I've been recently loving my newest Glossier addition to my Glossier lipstick collection: the Generation G Matte Lipstick in the shade "Cake". This shade is very sheer, yet buildable, achieving a pretty peachy, warm nude. I also love pairing this with a nude lipgloss such as the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lipgloss in the nude shade "Champagne Toast". Overall, this combination yields the perfect nude lip look!
