Brands I Want to Try More From.

Often a makeup brand releases a novel and exciting product that is all the rage, compelling many including myself to purchase and try the product. But often this means that the new product is the first I've ever tried from the brand. So, as much as I love these products, for some reason I've barely tried any other products from these brands even though I feel that I should given the high quality of the products I've already tried from them. If you've tried a few items from these brands, be sure to give me your opinions and recommendations as I'd love to try more from them!

Anastasia Beverly Hills. Despite this brand's long successful reign in the makeup world, especially upon their brow pomades, I think it's safe to say that the relatively recent Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette (review here) is ABH's claim to fame. This palette is adored by almost everyone that has tried it, myself included. Their subsequent paletttes have also been met with mostly rave reviews, albeit still not as much as this palette. Admittedly, this is the only product I've tried from Anastasia Beverly Hills, although I feel that I should really try more since their products are of high quality and they have such a vast variety of unique products!

Dior. I've only tried two limited edition eyeshadow palettes from this brand which I love that  give me more subtle and sophisticated eye looks (rather than the richly pigmented shadows of the previous palette). Despite my lack of experience in this brand, Dior is my favourite luxury brand given their luxe, yet diverse product range that seem to parallel with my aesthetic when it comes to my makeup preferences. I would especially love to try their blushes and other face products such as their new Backstage Collection!

NYX. This is an undoubtedly popular drugstore brand, although one that I haven't ventured much into. I only own one Matte Lipstick and the "Brights" Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette (review here) from them and I do adore them both. I applaud NYX for being one of those drugstore brands with true innovation and variety which is not incredibly common for the drugstore. I would love to try their eyeliner and lipliners especially as they're quite widely acclaimed.

Clinique. This is another brand that I feel is right up my alley given their whole beauty mission statement of simple, yet pretty makeup in terms of formulations and shades. I love this Cheek Pop Blush in "Pansy Pop" (review here) that is so soft and pretty on the cheeks. Clinique's other face products, particularly their cream products are next on my wishlist!

Have you tried products from any of these brands? What are your favourites?

  2. I've recently got into ABH - I have their sugar glow kit and the soft glam palette and I'm obsessed! The formula of their shadows is unbelievable but the shade range of their other palettes doesn't really appeal to me so I may slowly collect some of the single shadows instead.
