One of the reasons why autumn is my favourite season is because of the fashion. I feel that autumn style is often reliable in the sense that many of the styles and trends that are often associated with autumn actually do stay consistent throughout the years such as the typical neutral scarves, boots, and jackets that stand the test of time as classics. But, I also love and embrace the ever-changing fads that are introduced each year that make autumn fashion even more exciting.
A lot of trends have emerged this year that adopt a subtle novel element while still staying somewhat neutral. Animal print is like the new neutral, especially for shoes and coats. Plus, floral patterns have become a staple for this season, but in more autumnal hues especially on dresses. Also, check and plaid print is huge this year, particularly in the form of blazers and even skirt-suits! For the thicker coats and jackets, teddybear coats have become quite prominent which give a cute edge for staying warm in the cooler weather. While the shades for this season are quite neutral such as the usual tan and white tones, pops of red and deep jewel tones provide a unique contrast that break up the more monotone shades.
