3 Foundations to Choose From.

Foundations may not be as fun as the plethora of lipstick, blush, or eyeshadow shades, however, variety in foundation coverages and finishes can also be exciting to try out and have in your collection. There are multiple types of foundations in terms of coverage, finish, and consistency, each fitting a particular mood and makeup look or skin preference and needs. I personally enjoy having these different types of foundations as I can be prepared for any look that I am going for or for whatever purpose I need. In this post, I am featuring 3 different foundations that offer different effects and formulas that can suit whatever need or desire for your base.

Matte, Full-Coverage.
Whether it be for a long event or for covering blemishes of the skin, a full-coverage foundation does come in handy. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation is a favourite of mine for this purpose since its high coverage can be attained by building it up, rather than it being an intensely thick formulation that cakes up the skin. The same goes for its matte finish - it's not intense, but flattering, yet effective at keeping the oil at bay and lasting long throughout the day.

Natural, Medium-Coverage.
For the everyday usage, a more natural finish and medium-coverage foundation can be the most appropriate. The Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation is the perfect everday foundation as it offers good coverage that is buildable, plus a natural skin-like finish that doesn't appear as obvious makeup on top of the skin.

The Minimal Base.
For those natural makeup lovers, the Laneige BB Cushion Hydra Radiance Foundation is perfect as it offers just the right amount of product that you need for a natural, barely-there look, but still being enough to cover light blemishes and discolouration or redness. It also imparts a satin finish that mimics real skin beautifully - plus it has SPF 50!. It's all owing to the cushion formulation which is often the best constistency to go for as cushion products offer light product. (Full review here.)
