Five Fashion Favourites | Spring 2016

Fashion is truly my passion, among others of course. So, I absolutely love to collect fashion pieces as much as (if not, more than) collecting beauty products. Having said that, there are sometimes certain fashion pieces that I tend to wear almost too frequently because I've lately been loving them so much. Some of these items may not be available as I have purchased some of them from previous years, however, I have linked similar items that should be available right now. So, here are my current favourite fashion pieces that I just can't break free from!

1. Pink Moto Jacket
I got this last year from Suzy Shier and have been wearing this more than ever. Currently in trend, is coloured bomber jackets. This jacket is not exactly a bomber jacket, and instead portrays a more sleek and sophisticated moto-style alternative which I much prefer. It's the perfect simple light coverup, due to its soft material instead of the usual leather or suede moto jacket. It also acts as an injection of an extra pretty element to your outfit due to the pastel blush colour.

2. Polka Dot Blouse
This blouse, also from Suzy Shier, is one of my favourite shirts - ever. I love flowy (I sized up on purpose to create the oversized effect), long-sleeved, high collar shirts and this one fits the bill, with its adorable gold-ended tie. Tucked in black skinny jeans, it creates the most interesting combination of sophistication, plus pulling a 90s vibe due to its slight androgynous feel.

3. Grey Pointed Heels
I've featured these shoes in my Forever 21 Haul and I've been getting use out of them ever since, especially as it has been getting warmer, thus making it more appropriate to wear. These heels are very comfortable and its pointed style instantly makes any outfit much more chic and attention grabbing. From sleek black jeans to casual boyfriend jeans, these versatile heels have become a favourite in my shoe collection.

4. Pointed Black Flats
Whenever I'm not wearing heels, I turn to the next best thing: flats. I got these shoes last summer from Forever 21 (they honestly do the best shoes!). I have been noticing that this season, the ultra-luxe Valentino Rockstud heels and especially flats, are making a comeback. Because of this, I see many pointed flats making their way into the high street. These shoes do parallel themselves with their more expensive counterpart, but obviously for a fraction of the price, but still playing the role as a much more chic version of an ordinary flat, again due to the pointed style along with the double-strap.

5. Black Jeans
Basic, skinny, ankle-cut, somewhat high-waisted, black jeans. Nothing special, which is exactly why I have been getting A LOT of use out of it. Up until I finally located a pair of black jeans from Forever 21 that I was happy with (it's harder than it seems!), I've always worn leggings which was not always the best choice. This item was a most-needed piece in my wardrobe, for sure!
