Sunglasses are definitely one of the most popular and universal accessories - regardless of gender or style. Nowadays, I feel that sunglasses have begun taking an innovative turn, with unexpected styles and unique features. Warby Parker definitely contributes to the sunglasses revolution, creating fresh designs unlike no other. Known for their high quality materials such as acetate, premium Japanese titanium, and hypoallergenic stainless steel, the brand has earned a highly reputable status. When I was told by the brand about their new limited-edition collection Field Series, I knew it was something that I had to share with you!
So what exactly is this collection that is so distinguishable from any other? The Field Series limited-edition collection features a range of polarized sunglasses designed with a multi-layer composition. There are three designs in the collection, each with two different colours to choose from. The styles, however, are endless, one of which I'll show for my favourite frame!
1. "Reed"
This first style is of a narrow frame that is constructed with three layers: double layers of titanium that sandwich the acetate lens peering through. The overall look is ultra cool, with the details of the lens, frame, and bridge implementing a level of unique dimension and interest to the pair. Available in "Jet Matte Black with Jet Silver" or in "Green Spruce with Riesling", both styles reflect a unique flair while simultaneously maintaining a sophisticated look.
2. "Grady"
This style is comprised of two layers: the titanium frame in front and the acetate lens peering behind. Again, not only does this collection display a unique multi-layer design, but also incorporates subtle yet impactful detail, manifested by the special cutouts that are integrated along the top of the lens. Available in "Whiskey Tortoise with Jet Silver" and "Crystal Aqua with Jet Silver" - tailoring to two distinctive preferences.
3. "Bonnie"
The final pair (also my favourite!) exudes a more girly and feminine vibe whereas the other two represent a more unisex style. This round and oversized frame displays a retro look along with the intersection of a modern twist by utilizing a dual-frame construction. This injects a modern feel to the pair, keeping the design very fresh, current, and innovative. This pair is available in "Walnut Tortoise with Polished Gold" and "Grapefruit Soda with Resiling".
Style With:
Pinks and tortoise-shell shades such as these frames are basically neutrals, which I personally love pairing with complimentary hues such as browns, tan, and blush. Of course, black and denim always work too!
I am truly intrigued by this collection by Warby Parker. Its innovative and modern design along with its preservation of the sophisticated and classic look is very refreshing to see. I highly recommend checking out this limited edition collection as well as their entire sunglasses range.
Which pair is your favourite?
