I've mentioned many times that the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is my all time favourite concealer. It is moisturizing and has very good coverage. However, concealer in general is the type of makeup product that I love experimenting as I'm always in pursuit of something even better at covering my dark under-eyes (Tarte Shape Tape: come to Sephora!) Anyway, when I was the drugstore to repurchase the Fit Me concealer for the 10th time, but was sold out, I took the opportunity to try something new: the Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer.
I find that concealers, like foundation, are very specific in terms of what they are designed to offer. So, it is important to consider the claims of a particular concealer. This one prides itself in highlighting and illuminating, concealing, and being skin adapting. I find that this concealer does indeed add brightness and offers very decent coverage. In terms of skin tone adapting, I am not certain as I haven't compared the shade with someone else's skin tone, nor do I see much of a difference in the shade in the tube with when it's on my skin. Also, the application is a brush that dispenses product upon squeezing the tube.
To compare with my Maybelline Fit Me, it is not as moisturizing, hydrating, or dewy, but is thicker and achieves much higher coverage which I must appreciate. It's the kind of concealer that I like to reserve for just the under-eyes rather than all over the face on no-makeup days. Overall, I am highly impressed with this concealer am using it everyday since I got it. I'm glad for this to be sharing the top spot with my Maybelline one!
Have you tried this concealer? What is your favourite concealer?

DeleteI love the Maybelline Fit Me, but because I have crazy dark under eye circles, I need to give this Rimmel one a try! Thanks for your review xx

This one really is superior in terms of under-eye coverage! Now I love using both of these!
