Concealer. I'm lucky that I found my 'holy grail' concealer early on when I started with makeup. Concealer is super important to me and can really make an impact, yet in a subtle and natural way if you've got the right product. For me, that's the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. It's perfect for brightening, concealing, and can even act as a natural foundation. I've also been satisfied with other concealers from the drugstore, so I don't even have any curiosity for higher-end concealers.
Mascara. This is the sort of product that I have absolutely 0% desire to seek at Sephora. Honestly, I've tried quite a few high-end and even designer mascaras and yet, I still stick to the drugstore. My current 'holy-grail' is the L'Oréal Lash Paradise Mascara that basically accomplishes everything I want in a mascara: lenthening, volumnizing, thickening, and curling. It'd not only be disloyal, but foolish of me to look elsewhere given how much I personally love this mascara!
Pencil Eyeliner. I don't use pencil eyeliner that often, plus they're not the most exciting product, so I always feel that spending a lot on such a product would be a waste of money for me. I don't necessarily have an absolute favourite liner, but usually drugstore ones just work for me (unless their felt liners). I'm currently using the L.A. Girl Eyeliner which is super pigmented and creamy.
Brows. In general, brow products such as pencils and brow gel are products I get through quite frequently, plus the drugstore ones I've tried have been amazing for me. My favourite brow combo is the L'Oréal Brow Stylist Definer and the Rimmel Brow This Way Brow Gel - foolproof!
Lipstick. This may be cheating a bit since I do purchase high-end lipsticks (albeit rarely) and do enjoy them, however, the drugstore is honestly equal in quality and even quantity nowadays to Sephora. I also find that drugstore lipsticks are less harsh on my sensitive lips. My favourites range from Tanya Burr Cosmetics (unfortunately discontinued), L'Oréal, Rimmel, and NYX!
